Private Percussion Lessons
Kevin maintains a private lesson studio of roughly 15-25 students at a time consisting of High School students and older. If you are interested in taking a lesson please reach out to check availability.
1. Purpose
The purpose of private instruction is to assist the student in achieving the highest level of skill development and the best possible product; whether the student is seeking to use their talents in school, church, community, audition, competition, or professional setting. Through one-on-one education the instructor assists the student in discovering their full potential. The outcome for the participant is a strengthening of technique, musical skill/knowledge, personal accountability, and self- awareness.
2. General Information
Private lessons are offered in 30-minute or 60-minute sessions, either in-person or via digital online platform. It is highly important that students prepare adequately between sessions in order for their time to be used most effectively.
3. Payment: cash, check, or digital payment
Private lesson rates include $30 per 30 minutes, $60 per 60 minutes or $90 for 90 minutes. Payments may be made via: Venmo, PayPal, Cash app, Chase Zelle QuickPay, cash, or personal checks made out to Kevin Hanrahan.
4. Digital Teaching Platforms
More so now than ever, digital/online teaching has become an important part of education due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Because of this, if lessons are not able to take place in person, Kevin offers via the following digital platforms:
